Full day Mycenae – Nafplio – Epidavros private tour
This is carefully designed full day tour around the Peloponesse region which allows the visitor to see
multiple sights of different periods of Greek history in a comfortable and relaxed way.
First stop to admire the natural gateway between Athens and the Peloponesse,the Corinth canal.
As we go on, we stop at Mycanae to witness the remains of the oldest civilisation developed in the mainland dating back to 1600BC where among other findings we get to see some of the Trojan war heroes tumbs.
Later on we will visit the beautiful an historic city of Nafplio,which served as the first capital of the newly established Greek state.Above the city ‘hangs’ the famous Venecian castle of Palamidi which offers also a great view of the city.
Walking around the old cities small alleys you discover the magic, and some fine Italian made gelato!!! Before we take the way back!
Last stop,at the ancient theater of Epidavros which is still operative today and has some of the best acoustics in the world…
